Don’t Fight the Unworthy Fight.

“If she’s amazing, she won’t be easy. If she’s easy, she won’t be amazing. If she’s worth it, you won’t give up.” – Bob Marley

I’ve been there – fighting for a boy to give me a chance. We’ve all been there, haven’t we? Trying to get someone to like you and doing everything you can to win them over. You bend over backwards and you go out of your way, above and beyond to prove your undying love for them, in hopes they’ll feel the same for you and that you’ll both live happily ever after.
All you want is that person to accept you with open arms and share your love. For that, you’re willing to fight as hard as you can.

In the heat of the moment or for that whole span of time when your life is consumed by thoughts of that person – keeping them around you is the only thing that makes sense.

Love in it’s true form is something worth fighting for… BUT – real love shouldn’t require an ongoing and exhausting battle. Love is something to be appreciated, worshipped and enjoyed; it shouldn’t cause you stress or misery.
This world is filled with incredible people who win our hearts over, make us weak at the knees and open our eyes to amazing things. But we can’t always keep them to ourselves…

Don’t waste your precious days chasing after someone who doesn’t appreciate your efforts. Don’t let all your energy and passion be wasted on someone who can’t accept them. Let go of the people bring you down and make things more complicated than they should be; let go of unnecessary drama and be happy. Life is way too short to waste on someone who can’t worship the ground you walk on. You deserve better than that.

Don’t put yourself in the position to get hurt and don’t break your own heart; don’t fight the unworthy fight.
